Your Towing Company ("we," "us," or "our") uses Wrecker OS to operate its public website, booking tools, customer portals, staff tools, and related towing workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and the choices available to visitors, customers, account contacts, drivers, staff, job applicants, and other users.
Wrecker OS provides software, hosting, storage, and operational tools to tenant towing companies. Depending on the situation, the tenant towing company may be the business responsible for the information, and Wrecker OS may process information on that tenant's behalf.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with the website or platform, we may collect:
- Contact and booking details - name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off locations, account/customer identifiers, service notes, and other details submitted when booking or requesting service.
- Vehicle and tow details - vehicle year, make, model, VIN, license plate, condition, keys, mileage, storage location, release status, police hold details, pricing, invoices, payments, and job history.
- Photos, videos, signatures, and documents - pickup and drop-off photos, damage reports, proof-of-service records, impound photos, vehicle attachments, signatures, receipts, lien documents, notices, and other uploaded files.
- Driver and staff information - account profile, role, login activity, assigned jobs, on-duty status, GPS location while using field tools, compliance records, truck assignments, and operational notes.
- Payments and billing information - invoice details, payment status, transaction identifiers, last four digits or payment method references provided by a payment processor, and related accounting records. Full card numbers are handled by the payment processor and are not stored in our application database.
- Communications - contact forms, chat messages, portal messages, email records, review requests, private feedback, and support requests.
- Website and device information - IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location, and cookie or local storage preferences. Analytics is only loaded after analytics consent where the feature is configured.
- Employment application information - application responses, work history, license or credential details, attachments, and other information submitted for employment review.
How we use information

- Provide towing, roadside, dispatch, impound, release, and customer portal services
- Assign drivers, update job status, document pickup and drop-off, and create proof packets
- Estimate pricing, create invoices, collect payments, and manage account receivables

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls, role-based permissions, tenant isolation, and managed cloud providers. No website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
